Reader Suggestion: Bill Ferris of Flagstaff, Arizona, reports that if your drive motor makes a lot of clicking sounds, it is pretty well shot. I agree. My DC drive motor made those clicking sounds, and a returning them to Meade eventually resulted in a replacement drive motor and gearbox. The new drive motor works fine.
